Note from the Communications Committee

To ensure information about chapter activities and events is shared among those who share them with the community, we are requesting that contributors please fill out the form below. If you have any questions or technical issues, please contact: communications@cnpssd.org.

Please note: Common image guidelines for size and resolution are as follows: 1200 x 630 pixels (blog/event images) and 250 x 150 pixels (logo images) with a minimum resolution of 72ppi (pixels per inch). Please do not include images with watermarks as we will always include the photo credit if provided in the form. Thank you.

To attach multiple files you can compress them into a ZIP Archive. This option is built into Windows and Mac.

Windows:

Copy the relevant images into a Folder
Right-Click your mouse on the Folder to display the menu
Hover the mouse over “Compress to…” and click “ZIP file”

Mac:

Copy the relevant images into a Folder
Right-Click (Control Click) your mouse on the Folder to display the menu
Choose “Compress” from the context menu

Now that your ZIP file is created, click “Choose File” under the “Upload Images” option on the Communications form below, and select your ZIP file.

Please note, if you are having technical difficulties or prefer not to use the above process, you can upload photos directly to our public OneDrive folder. All images must use the following naming convention. If you do not follow this naming convention, we have no way of knowing what event your photos are being used for or who should receive the photo credit:

Photo credits for images (include photographer’s name or describe image). Note: Only submit images that CNPSSD has permission to use. If unsure, please contact the photographer to receive written permission.

Any hashtags or tags for promotion (e.g., #canativeplants #cnpssd #monkeyflower)
