Throughout this week, individuals, communities, and organizations will host in-person and virtual events to inspire discovery of our state’s remarkable nature, while encouraging everyday actions to protect and steward it. Find 30 Species for California Biodiversity Day

Did you know you can participate in Biodiversity Day from anywhere in the state? Just join the Find 30 Species for California Biodiversity Day project on iNaturalist, and submit observations of 30 wild species between September 6-14. This statewide effort helps us better understand our incredible biodiversity, and the data we collect together will inform the California 30×30 Initiative.
