Del Mar Fair Garden Show
June 10 – July 5
The Garden Committee is delighted to once again be part of this year’s Paul Ecke Jr. Garden Show at the San Diego County Fair! Inspired by the 2026 theme, “Enchanted Realms – A Garden Journey,” our volunteers are hard at work creating an immersive native plant experience inspired by the Elfin Forest and Escondido Creek.
Garden Show Schedule
● May 11 – June 4: Exhibit Build by Volunteers
● June 5: Garden Show Exhibits Judging
● June 10: Fair Opens & Garden Show Awards, Ceremony at 6:00 pm – everyone is invited!
● June 24: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm: CNPS San Diego “Alive in the Garden” Visit the CNPS Book Store and explore Garden Committee hand crafted items. 12:00 PM: Greg Rubin presents a special talk on native garden design.
● July 6: End-of-Show Plant Sale. Almost everything in the exhibit will be available for purchase at discounted prices! Watch this newsletter for details.
One Day Only – End-of-Show Plant Sale!
Join us on Monday, July 6, beginning at 11:00 AM for the CNPS San Diego Garden Show End-of-Show Sale at the San Diego County Fair.
Nearly everything in our award-winning exhibit will be available for purchase, including California native plants, trees, garden accents, and more.
Location
Enter through the main fairgrounds entrance on Jimmy Durante Boulevard and park near the O’Brien Gate. We will be set up near the fairground entrance in the parking lot.
What to Bring
Please bring your own garden cart, wagon, or dolly to help transport purchases to your vehicle.
