Miramar Vernal Pools: Guided Wildflower Walk

Visit one of San Diego’s most unique and fragile habitats during the spring wildflower season. Vernal pools form only for a short time each year and support rare, highly specialized plants adapted to these conditions.

This guided walk offers an opportunity to learn how vernal pools function and what makes them important for biodiversity in our region.

After the walk, stay for a casual lunch with pizza and refreshments under the canopy.
