If you’ve ever ordered seeds from the CNPS San Diego seed store, you’ve already experienced Cathy Long’s dedication—she’s the one who processes and mails every single order! Now, you’re invited to visit Cathy and Randy Long’s beautiful home garden in La Mesa for a unique spring tour.

About the Garden
Perched on the edge of a canyon with sweeping views, Cathy began planting natives in 2019 and continues to nurture her ever-evolving space. With over 120 native plant species, there’s plenty to see, learn, and be inspired by. You’ll also get to explore her charming food garden and propagation area, complete with a cozy potting shed where Cathy grows native plants from seed.

Brunch & Conversation
Enjoy a casual potluck brunch and Cathy will talk about her garden journey and answer questions.
