Public Outreach – 2026 San Diego Bird Festival – Day 2

Join us at the 2026 San Diego Bird Festival
Saturday, February 28 | 10:00 AM – 6PM
Sunday, March 1 | 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

A fantastic day for bird lovers, gardeners, and anyone curious about habitat. We will be sharing native plant and wildlife-friendly gardening resources and chatting with festival-goers about how native plants support birds year-round.

Volunteer with us
We are still building the volunteer team for this event. If you can take a shift, you will help CNPS San Diego show up strong – and you will get to spend the day surrounded by people who are excited about birds and nature.

Saturday, Feb 28 shifts
Morning: 8:30 AM–1:30 PM. (includes setup)
Afternoon: 1:30 PM–6:30 PM (includes takedown)

Sunday, Mar 1 shifts
Morning: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM (includes setup)
Afternoon: 12:00 PM–4:00 PM. (includes takedown)

Location
Marina Village Conference Center (Mission Bay), 1936 Quivira Way.
