I raise milkweed for Monarch butterflies, which I raise from eggs. The prevailing advice is to always stay away from using products like these. But, if our nectar plants, like ceanothus, are being sucked to death, I’m open to listening to how we could treat this problem without hurting the Monarch eggs/caterpillars.I won’t post this on my FB page for Monarchs until I hear from you. I need to know how to defend this use of chemical warfare when I’ve always advocated to NO chemcials or soaps. Can you help me understand how this would be safe around our raising Monarch butterflies?
